What makes BargeFlow different from a generic form builder?
BargeFlow is built around one idea: everything is a process. A form is just one step type inside a procedure that can also include sign-offs, photo proofs, quizzes, approvals, PDF outputs and certificates. That unification removes the manual wiring between workflows, forms and documents that slows down maritime teams.
Can we keep our existing PDF forms?
Yes. Upload any PDF and BargeFlow detects fillable fields automatically. For flat or scanned PDFs, the visual mapper lets you draw fields directly on the page. Completion generates the filled PDF your office or authority still expects.
Can several forms be combined into one process?
Yes. A Flow chains several forms into one named, ordered process where the next step opens only after the previous one is completed and approved. Confined-space entry, for example, runs as risk talk → gas & oxygen measurement → work permit → the job. Forms stay loose and reusable, every run shows live progress in a single Workflows inbox, and all the filled PDFs are archived together per run.
Does it work offline for crews at sea?
Yes. The crew PWA caches the app shell and queues submissions in an outbox while offline. When connectivity returns, submissions sync automatically. Crews always see clear status so they know their work is safe.
Which compliance frameworks are covered?
The template library includes procedures and checklists aligned with ISM, MARPOL, ISPS, CDNI, ADN, OCIMF SIRE 2.0 and BIRE. You can also build custom procedures for any internal or port-state requirement.
Can we run it inside our own Microsoft 365 tenant?
